Application of RPA in The Public Security, Procuratorial Organs, And The People's Courts

While the public security, procuratorial organs, and the people's courts in China face less fierce competition in digital transformation, due to the insufficiency of public resources in the social life, cutting financial expenditure, improving the efficiency in government services, and saving human and material resources in public services, to provide better services for the people, are still top concerns facing the government institutions today. The public security, procuratorial organs, and the people's courts target a wide audience to provide a wide range of services following rule-based processes, which involves a daunting workload. Under these circumstances, robots can be implemented to automate those repetitive and tedious work with extremely low fault tolerance, in a bid to reduce labor costs and improve the efficiency of services.

Public security organs

In the prevention and control of Covid-19, public security organs are required to help complete demographical registration in some densely populated areas in order to track people's movement in case of an emergency. However, such complex registration work poses a grave challenge to the staff at the primary level. Through RPA, people traveling by air and railway can be quickly traced and analyzed through the system, and their recent activities can be uploaded to the epidemic prevention and control management system in just a few seconds, thus achieving the true coordinated prevention and control across the board.

Today, the police forces in all categories in the public security organs are now turning to the Internet-based data from various sources for their daily work. However, such data are decentralized, cannot be shared effectively, and used in a coordinated way, which fails to give full play to Internet data. With the RPA robot in place, both internal data in public security organs, the social and industrial data, and the Internet-based data can be automatically collected by the system, then used for multi-dimensional analysis on the target audience in support of case investigation, and the efficient police work.

Procuratorial organs

Take the documents issued by the procuratorate as an example. to manually issue a legal document for a certain case, the staff needs to log in to the system first, collect the case card and the information on people involved, then compare the information and enter it in the template, which is time-consuming and labor-intensive and does not allow any single errors. Final documents will be publicized online, so any single error may delay the case resolution, or even cause reputation loss for the procuratorate. In this case, RPA robots can be used to replace human labor to automatically log in to the system and upload the information with a 100% accuracy rate.
