The world is not what it used to be anymore. COVID-19 has changed us from countless perspective. The world is becoming an intelligent, digital mesh of information and resources. We can no longer separate digital world from the physical world anymore. We are moving towards a world that everyone needs to reconsider and refine him or herself and everything around. Gartner has released their strategic predictions for 2022 and beyond on Oct 28th for entrepreneurs to understand unexpected things and new technological trends.
Gartner predict that “By 2027, low Earth orbit (LEO) satellites will extend internet coverage to an additional billion of the world’s poorest people, raising 50% of them out of poverty. “Enterprises have to be prepared for the increased recruiting cost and human resource cost due to a higher level of education and limited choices. Instead of high human resource costs, enterprises could use RPA to achieve business process automation. Using robots and software to complete repetitive work quickly and effectively.
“By 2025, 75% of companies will “break up” with poor-fit customers as the cost of retaining them eclipses good-fit customer acquisition costs.” Based on Gartner® report, enterprises have to concentrate on whether the current partnership is mutually beneficial or has the chance of becoming beneficial. Nowadays, companies use personal data to differentiate their target customer from others. However, privacy sanctions would be a huge problem for companies. Using RPA could reduce the risk of information leakage. That is because the information will be analyzed by robots and algorism only.
“By 2024, 80% of CIOs surveyed will list modular business redesign through composability as a top-five reason for accelerated business performance.” It acknowledges the importance of modular business redesign to be more adaptable, agile, and automated. Also, the report mentions “By 2024, 30% of corporate teams will be without a boss due to the self-directed and hybrid nature of work.” These two trends show that the decision-making processes, business module, and essential value will shift to a whole new level. Employees want to release their potential and companies need to make it happen. RPA could minimize interdependencies, let robots do those systematic, redundant work.
